Premiere: OVO Hydro Glasgow, UK / Tour: 2024-2025
Set in 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells the story of Jean Valjean, a peasant seeking redemption after being imprisoned for 19 years. He is inspired by a bishop’s act of mercy, breaks his parole, and starts anew in disguise. Valjean becomes wealthy, adopts an orphan named Cosette, while the relentless inspector Javert pursues him. Their lives intertwine during a revolutionary period as young idealists attempt to overthrow the government in Paris.
The story now reimagined for a concert version, features three LED screens that I have adapted content for.
